We're the Pendlebury family, and it's our absolute pleasure to be your Christmas guides on this festive journey of discovery. Allow us to introduce ourselves.
I'm Joe, but you might know me better as 'Mr Claus', and by my side is my partner in all things Christmas, Alex, fondly known as 'Mrs Claus'. We're based in the picturesque county of Derbyshire, and we're parents to three precious little elves - Max (8), Mia (6), and our tiniest jingle bell, Holly (2).
The Midsmas Journey 🌱
Our family's shared love for the magic of Christmas sparked the creation of a Facebook group called Midsmas - a cosy corner for fellow Christmas enthusiasts from across the Midlands and further afield. In just under two years, we've grown into a vibrant community of over 20,000 festive fanatics across the East and West Midlands - and even further afield!

But Midsmas has always been more than a Facebook group. It's a glittering treasure trove of the best Christmas experiences the Midlands has to offer, from Santa's Grottos and bustling markets to unique gift ideas and home decor tips. It's your Advent calendar, unwrapping daily surprises to add that extra dash of magic to your Christmas.
Championing a Claus for All 💪❤️
The uniqueness of our family has shaped the Midsmas community's ethos. Our oldest elf, Max, lives with Autism and ADHD, while our dear Mia is non-verbal, severely Autistic, and has other hidden disabilities. Our personal journey has transformed us into advocates for families with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We actively collaborate with festive event organisers to ensure that Christmas in the Midlands is a magical experience for all, regardless of their needs.
